Folk dancing has started in music!
5th and 6th grade made a trip to Forest Glen Preserve to experience Maple Syrup Season! We ventured to the Sugar Bush to discover the winter tradition of tapping trees, collecting buckets of sap, and boiling it down to that golden amber syrup for which the Forest Glen Preserve is so well known. A special thank you to Ms. Brenna Karcher and the Vermilion County Conservation District for putting on a great trip and to Monicals for welcoming us for lunch!

NED's Mindset Mission Assembly is visiting PGS on February 26th. NED and our students will take a journey to find their positive mindset. The show is filled with storytelling, humor, illusions, and amazing yo-yo tricks where our kids learn the hidden message in NED's name:

4th grade has been working hard this week on their endangered species research project! They are using their Chromebooks to look up information, type up their facts, and find pictures for their project posters! Be on the look out for pictures of their completed work.
Tomorrow there will be a change in the menu. It will be pulled pork instead of hamburger on bun.
Today we had 99.2% present attendance!!! We celebrated with a quick treat after lunches! Look at that treat smorgasbord! However, principal fail and I forgot to take a picture of all of the students!
