Some questions about family day have been asked by so here is a simple description! These are days for our students to come together to not only enjoy activities but build relationships with each other. This is not an event parents need to attend. The "family" we are talking about here are the groups of kids working together and helping one another. The relationships carry over in everyday activities at school when we see 8th graders helping out kindergarteners or even random high fives in the hallway!
Third grade playing ALL the instruments as we review rhythm reading and steady beat!
Day three at outdoor school was spent learning about the rivers here in Vermilion County this morning and exploring the Middlefork and the afternoon was spent looking at creepy crawly bugs found on the forest floor!
Mrs. Taylor was even brave and picked up a wolf spider so the kids could see it!
