Merry Christmas from pre-k!! Our family project Christmas tree turned out so cute!

In our pre-K classroom, we learned about gingerbread men while using our five senses. We talked about what gingerbread looks like and felt the dough with our hands. We smelled the spices and listened as we mixed the ingredients together. We watched the gingerbread men bake in the oven and noticed how the smell changed as they cooked. After they cooled, we decorated our gingerbread men and used our sense of taste to try them. This fun activity helped us learn through hands-on cooking, sensory exploration, and following directions.

Need a quick, easy, and fun experiment for your e-learning day? Boil some water, put it in a container like a bowl or thermos, take it outside and throw it into the cold air (make sure the wind isn't blowing into you and that you throw it away from yourself). What happens to the water? Post your video doing this fun activity below!
