Homecoming Week - PGS Style

We are partnering with OSF to support a local family facing cancer for the second time. Their son, Lincoln, now 8, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at age 2 and continues survivor treatments. Recently, Lincoln’s dad, Jordan, a teacher at Salt Fork, was diagnosed with brain cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Purple represents all cancers, and we are showing our support in the fight to end cancer while also cheering on our AP Trojans during HOCO Week.

All week, a purple donation bucket will be in the office to support this cause and bring us one step closer to ending cancer.

Tomorrow starts our newest PBIS Fundraiser with The Slotted Spoon! We are trying to raise funds for Family Day activities and for our big Behavior Incentive Days, like a trip to Elevate! If every child in our school sells 3 items from this fundraiser we would be able to fund our Elevate trip! Kids will be bringing home order forms tomorrow to track orders on. Orders can be taken Oct. 1-16. Payment can be made out to PGS PBIS and order forms and payment need to be returned to Mrs. Taylor on Oct. 17. If you have any questions please let us know!
