It was wear your favorite band shirt today. Leah and I picked the same band, Guns and Roses! Really liking Emmitt's Queen shirt as well!
Some of the first graders were successful in getting the leprechauns to the pot of gold. A big thank you to a few sixth graders who helped us avoid the traps while block coding with variables of speed and distance on our Sphero Bolts. (Videos of successful runs are on our Facebook page.)

Mrs. Ingalsbe's 5th grade class had an exciting week watching their chicks hatch... The chicks must have been exhausted from all they learned in class this week because they enjoyed some naps on some of the kids! 🐣

Yesterday's Music Madness was a surprise. We had a tie of 61-61 between Wellerman and We Will Rock You. After polling the teachers, We Will Rock You won out. So today's final music battle is between Queen and Luke Bryan. Can't wait to see who wins!
Reminder: PGS will be dismissing at 1 PM Friday, March 10th to allow all students, staff, and families to be able to go and support the 7th grade volleyball team at State. Our team plays at 4:30 PM in Brimfield. Go Cardinals!!
PGS 7th and 8th grade classes had the privilege to hear from Mr. William Gingold about his experiences of being born during and surviving the Holocaust (and the years after) with his family.

Yesterday was a special day in first grade! After 21 long days we were greeted by five chicks in the morning, three during our school day and ended the day with two more arrivals. We have moved some chicks to the brooder box and hope to have more by the end of today!

Here are the winners from Music Madness Round 2. I was shocked at some of the songs that lost, but voting on Round 3 today.
We will be ordering State Bound Volleyball shirts that will be available to pick up on FRIDAY!!! They will be $15 for sizes YS-AXL and $18 for sizes A2X and up. If you would like to guarantee a size, email me your order to freemanc@potomac.k12.il.us ASAP. Otherwise, we will be ordering in bulk with random sizes and they will be available first come, first serve! When they are gone, they are gone!

Our 7th grade volleyball team will be competing at the state tournament on Friday in Brimfield at 4:30 pm! To allow for our staff and students who would like to attend the game, we will be dismissing the entire school at 1:00 pm on Friday!!!!
